ABSTRACT
The lens actuator is the important mechanical-electrical component in optical disk reading/recording system. According to error signals from pickup reading/writing process, namely focusing and tracking signals, coils as well are applied corresponding corrective current (or voltage), thus, force generated by current-on magnetic field will real-time actuate objective make spot precisely fall on disc information track, realizing data reading/writing. As wire suspension type, model determines design process. material mechanics, distribution wires analyzed four set up, parameters designated natural frequency static sensitivity of moving part can be determined. After serial experiments using Instron 5848 Microtester, better treatment for fabrication adopted with 1.5 hour aging sliver cover-layer. Moreover, tested laser vibrometer results show good performance actuator, which proves feasibility model. Although up used DVD-ROM, it also six HD DVD Blu-Ray.
