ABSTRACT
Transmission loss and impact noise are two important aspects of the properties floors. With application principle reciprocity, a relation is derived for floors with hard surfaces that makes it possible to estimate from transmission or vice versa. If both known, some insight can be gained on existence leakage paths flanking by side walls, efficiency floor-surfacing materials.
