ABSTRACT
Wavefront fluctuations, rotations, and distortions, measured for a particular arrival in the multipath set long-range propagation, were cross correlated with acoustic-signal time-base distortions same arrival. Although wavefront perturbations contain higher frequency components than signal significant correlation amplitudes found time rotation, distortion, distortion rotation correlations. The results demonstrate that common causes, such as tides, overtides, internal waves, underlie both temporal spatial of acoustic signal. these significantly high percentage tests, degree between them was not stable over periods days or weeks.
