ABSTRACT
In a previous talk, ‘‘A new adaptive differential microphone array’’ by Elko and Pong, has been introduced that adapts its directivity pattern to the particular acoustic environment provide for good signal-to-noise ratio. There, selected remains more or less constant with respect frequency. this talk an approach is described contains one degree of freedom. The spectrum signals partitioned in uniform subbands different patterns are adaptively chosen each subband. This allows cancel multiple noise sources nonoverlapping spectra. An LMS-based algorithm will be derived focus on low computational load short delay desired signal. Consequences speed adaptation discussed. Further, experimental results first implementation 33 PC-based DSP32C board presented. measurements verify ability disjoint spectra without distorting
