ABSTRACT
Golf handicap is significantly correlated to putting performance with low golfers (LH) demonstrating increased accuracy compared high (HH). Smaller center of pressure excursion (CPE) during has been demonstrated by LH golfers, suggesting balance important successful putts. The aim this study was examine CPE in low, mid and about the mediolateral axis (ML) anteriorposterior (AP). Nineteen subjects participated study; were split into LH, HH groups. Subjects completed five 2.5m putts, standing on an RS FootScan. group smaller comparison AP axis, for all three phases putt. No significant differences found between groups ML axis. reduction suggests that direction, which may contribute accuracy. Coaches should place emphasis reducing consequently increasing stroke.
