ABSTRACT
Athlete self-report measures (ASRM) have the potential to provide valuable insight into training response; however, there is a disconnect between research and practice that needs be addressed; namely, measure or methods used in are not always reflective of practice, data primarily obtained from lacks empirical quality. This commentary reviews existing psychometric properties required considered acceptable for practice. information will allow discerning readers make judgment on quality ASRM being reported papers.
