ABSTRACT
Planning is essential for organising learning content in sports coaching and physical education (PE) contexts but depends on multiple mutable circumstances each context. Although performance are present both contexts, planning PE typically more centred learning, while tends to focus performance. Nonetheless, also requires ongoing support performance, with coaches outlining pedagogical strategies their daily training plans achieve short- long-term goals. From this perspective, models used may offer valuable insights helping develop various approaches plan tasks effectively. Therefore, article explored the parallels divergences between encompassing goals structures, alongside opportunities, barriers, remediation strategies, practical implications potentially transferable coaching. The highlighted importance of flexible structures accommodate nonlinear nature learning. Specifically, can learn from how sessions athletes diverse motivations skill levels, as well design that psychosocial psychological skills.
