ABSTRACT
Individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD) often experience cognitive declines. Although pharmacologic therapies are helpful in treating motor deficits PD, they do not appear to be effective for complications. Acute bouts of moderate aerobic exercise have been shown improve function healthy adults. However, individuals PD difficulty exercise. This study examined the effects passive leg cycling on executive PD. Executive was assessed Trail-Making Test (TMT) A and B before after cycling. Significant improvements TMT-B test occurred Furthermore, difference between times complete TMT-A significantly decreased from precycling postcycling. Improved may a result increases cerebral blood flow. These findings suggest that could concurrent therapy decline
