ABSTRACT
Portable accelerometers are used to capture physical activity in free-living individuals with the ActiGraph being one of most widely device brands and health research. Recently, February 2022, published their count algorithm released a Python package for generating counts from raw acceleration data five generations devices. The nonproprietary derivation improved transparency interpretation accelerometer device-measured activity, but release does not integrate packages developed by research community using R Statistical Programming Language. In this technical note, we describe our efforts create an R-based translation ActiGraph's additional extensions make processing easier faster end users. We call resulting
