ABSTRACT
Scientific evidence and public health reports keep highlighting the continuous alarming worldwide progression of physical inactivity sedentary behaviors in children adolescents. The present paper summarizes findings from 2022 French Report Card (RC) on activity for youth compares them to 2016, 2018, 2020 RCs.The edition RC follows standardized methodology established by Active Healthy Kids Global Matrix. Ten indicators have been evaluated graded based best available coming national surveys, peer-reviewed literature, government nongovernment reports, online information. evaluation was also performed adolescents with disabilities. Indicators were A (high level evidence) F (very low or INC incomplete.The received following grades: overall activity: D-; organized sport participation C; active play: F; transportation: behaviors: family peers: D; fitness: school: C-; community built environment: government: B.While this shows 7 out 10 considered, it underlines need actions at local, regional, levels develop better surveillance systems favor a long-term improvement movement behaviors.
