ABSTRACT
The Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C) is a validated self-report measure of physical activity widely used to assess in children (8-14 years age). To date, however, the instrument has been largely White Canadian samples. purpose present article determine psychometric properties PAQ-C African American, European and Hispanic children. Two studies were conducted which independent samples administered PAQ-C, along with varying indices cardiovascular fitness, fatness, psychological measures related activity. Results showed that reliability validity varied by race modifications might be necessary.
