ABSTRACT
Many highly regenerative organisms maintain adult pluripotent stem cells throughout their life, but how the long-term maintenance of pluripotency is accomplished unclear. To decipher regulatory logic cells, we analyzed chromatin organization cell genes in planarian Schmidtea mediterranea . We identify a special state genes, which distinct from that tissue-specific and resembles constitutive genes. Where promoters have detectable transcription factor binding sites, cell–specific instead sequence features broadly decrease nucleosome affinity. This genic makes pluripotency-related gene expression default these maintained by activity remodelers ISWI SNF2 cells.
