ABSTRACT
Entangled multiphoton sources are essential for both fundamental tests of quantum foundations and building blocks contemporary optical technologies. While efforts over the past three decades have focused on creating entanglement through multiplexing existing biphoton with linear optics postselections, our work presents a groundbreaking approach. We observe genuine continuous-mode time-energy-entangled W-class triphotons an unprecedented production rate directly generated spontaneous six-wave mixing (SSWM) in four-level triple-Λ atomic vapor cell. Using electromagnetically induced transparency coherence control, SSWM scheme allows versatile narrowband triphoton generation advantageous properties, including long temporal controllable waveforms. This advancement is ideal applications like long-distance communications information processing, bridging single photons neutral atoms. Most importantly, establishes reliable efficient source, facilitating accessible research entanglement.
