ABSTRACT
Dielectric polymers with high dipole density have the potential to achieve very energy density, which is required in many modern electronics and electric systems. We demonstrate that a fast discharge speed low loss can be obtained defect-modified poly(vinylidene fluoride) polymers. This achieved by combining nonpolar polar molecular structural changes of polymer proper dielectric constants, avoid displacement saturation at fields well below breakdown field. The results indicate constant may not desirable reach density.
