ABSTRACT
The Rauscher leukemia virus separated as a single band upon density gradient centrifugation in cesium chloride, rubidium sucrose, potassium citrate, or tartrate. Prolonged exposure to concentrated citrate tartrate solutions caused lysis of the virus; resulting products, having different densities, on gradients.
