ABSTRACT
Little is known about the identity of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) export signals and how they are used to regulate number proteins on cell surface. Here, we describe two ER that profoundly altered steady-state distribution potassium channels were required for channel localization plasma membrane. When transferred other or a G protein-coupled receptor, these increased functional Thus, membrane not necessarily limited by folding assembly, but may be under control specific signals.
