ABSTRACT
The yeast flora associated with healthy and Botrytis-infected grapes was assessed. Molecular identification methods assigned isolates to six genera nine species. For the first time Hanseniaspora opuntiae encountered as an inhabitant of grape ecosystem. By using DraI, informative restriction fragment length polymorphism pattern generated distinguish H. from closely related organism guilliermondii. Botrytis infection resulted in a larger population greater diversity yeasts enriched fermentative or spoilage
