ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Cytotoxicity assays provide an in vitro evaluation of the lytic activity NK and T cells against tumors or transformed cells. However, none these methods allow recovery supernatants after assay. We standardized a microcytotoxicity test using calcein-acetoxymethyl (calcein-AM) dye that requires very small quantities while maintaining same sensitivity as traditional 51 Cr The assay is applicable to resting well activated human effector uses different targets such cell lines are adherent growing suspension resistant sensitive. most important feature method possibility recovering for additional analyses phenotyping soluble factors.
