ABSTRACT
Divercin V41, a class IIa bacteriocin with strong antilisterial activity, is produced by Carnobacterium divergens V41. To express recombinant version of divercin we constructed synthetic gene that encodes the mature V41 peptide and then overexpressed in pET-32b using T7 RNA polymerase promoter Escherichia coli Origami (DE3)(pLysS) strain. The DvnRV41 was expressed as translational fusion protein thioredoxin accumulated cell cytoplasm soluble anti-Listeria active form. purified cleaved to obtain pure, soluble, folded (462 microg per 20 ml culture). This paper describes first design E. cytoplasm.
