ABSTRACT
Acinetobacter baumannii
is an important human opportunistic pathogen that usually causes high morbidity and mortality. It employs the N-acyl-L-homoserine lactone (AHL)-type quorum sensing (QS) system, AbaI/AbaR, to regulate biological functions and virulence.
