ABSTRACT
We have described clinical features of 53 cases with pustulotic arthro-osteitis. Anterior chest wall symptoms such as intersterno-costoclavicular or manubriosternal lesions were observed in all cases. Spondylitis spondylodiscitis was found 18 Sacroiliitis resembling ankylosing spondylitis seen 7 Peripheral inflammatory arthritis 14 cases, which nonerosive, oligoarthritis type, and cured within 1 to 2 months, leaving no residue. HLA B27 never found, RAW factor negative. Histological examinations revealed nonspecific chronic inflammation bone soft tissue. Pustulotic arthro-osteitis is apparently distinct from known rheumatic diseases rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis, psoriatic Reiter9s disease. proposed that this condition should be classified a member the "seronegative spondylo-arthritis9 group designated by Wright Moll.
