ABSTRACT
The assessment of inoperability bronchial carcinoma by angiocardiography has received little attention in this country, and it is the purpose paper to discuss value investigation analysing our results 31 cases at Leicester Chest Unit.Since introduction Robb Steinberg 1938 many authors have described its use differential diagnosis lesions lungs mediastinum, but not intended aspect.The possibility assessing operability neoplasm was first suggested Steinberg, Dotter, Andrus (1950).Dotter 1952 gave further details their methods.In addition, Ander- sen, Andersen, Eltorm, Poulsen, Glistrup, Petersen (1951) mentioned tech- nique two one case media- stinal tumour (nodal metastases from a breast carcinoma).TECHNIQUE Angiocardiography performed supine position using an automatic serial changer which permitted eight films be exposed 10 seconds.The radiographic factors used were 75-85 kV, 300 mA, 0.1 second with tube-film distance 36 in.using stationary grid.A preliminary film
