ABSTRACT
As the technology associated with "Web Services" trend gains significant adoption, need for a corresponding design approach becomes increasingly important. This paper introduces foundational model designing (composite) services. The innovation of this lies in identification four interrelated viewpoints (interface behaviour, provider choreography, and orchestration) their formalization from control-flow perspective terms Petri nets. By formally capturing interrelationships between these viewpoints, proposal enables static verification consistency composite services designed cooperative incremental manner. A proof-of-concept simulation tool has been developed to test possibilities proposed model.
