ABSTRACT
Co/Cu multilayers were electrodeposited in potentiostatic mode, using two different sulphate baths, one without any additive and other containing trisodium citrate. Deposition parameters, like deposition potential time, established for both the baths by carrying out a series of cyclic voltammetry chronoamperometric experiments. Thin films, having 2–20 bilayers, under parameters. It was observed that films deposited from bath citrate comparatively much smoother than free bath. The with 20 bath, exhibited room temperature magnetoresistance 1.5% at 9 kG, whereas value enhanced to up 5.6% kG same number bilayers.
