ABSTRACT
Designing and developing sensitive electrochemical sensors have always been paid attention to achieve the accurate detection of ammonia–nitrogen in aqueous environment. Herein, a two-step electrodeposition route was used Ni foam-supported polypyrrole nanospheres Pt nanostars sensing electrode (Pt-PPy-Ni foam) for detection. After controlling deposition time nanostars, optimal Pt-PPy-Ni foam exhibited greater electrocatalytic ability ammonia oxidation reaction with current density 41.73 mA cm[Formula: see text] than that Pt-Ni foam. This enhanced could be attributed excellent adsorption great catalytic activity reaction. showed performances sensitivity 0.013 [Formula: text]M[Formula: text], limit 8.72 text]M. Moreover, accepted results were obtained recovery measurements lake seawater samples recoveries from 101.05% 102.27% 90.73% 91.70%. In addition, sensor good anti-interference low charges, reproducibility (relative standard deviation = 1.58%) stability 6.11%), showing application potential.
