ABSTRACT
Micromilling has great potential in producing microdevices for lab-on-a-chip and organ-on-a-chip applications, but remained under-utilized due to the high machinery costs limited accessibility. In this paper, we assessed machining capabilities of a low-cost 3-D mill polycarbonate material, which were showcased by production microfluidic devices. The study demonstrates that particular is well suited fabrication multi-scale with feature sizes from micrometers centimeters.
