ABSTRACT
From magnetoplasma experiments at 50 GHz for n -Pb 1- x Sn Te (0≤ < 0.3), a static dielectric constant ε s is determined as function of . For =0, 0.063, 0.091, 0.152 and 0.293, found to be 1410, 1770, 2840, 4610 10800 1.6 K, respectively. seems depend on band gap well carrier density. It suggested that free carriers tend stabilize the lattice instability transition ferroelectric phase would possible around =0.2 if density very small. further structure alloys essentially same PbTe least up =0.3.
