ABSTRACT
In this paper, we present the scalable and efficient flash file system using combination of NAND Phase-change RAM (PRAM). Until now, several systems have been developed considering physical characteristics flash. However, previous still a high performance overhead scalability problem mounting time memory usage because, in most case, metadata is written with words at single update even though writes must be performed terms page, which typically 2 KiB. The proposed called PFFS uses PRAM to mitigate limitation next generation non-volatile good for dealing word level read/write small size data. hence separates from regular data saves them into PRAM. Consequently, manages all files directories outperforms other systems. experimental results show that 25% better than YAFFS2 small-file while matching large mouting are O(1).
