ABSTRACT
We propose an example-based approach for simulating complex elastic material behavior. Supplied with a few poses that characterize given object, our system starts by constructing space of prefered deformations means interpolation. During simulation, this example manifold then acts as additional attractor guides the object towards its shapes. Added on top existing solid simulation codes, potential effectively allows us to implement inhomogeneous and anisotropic materials in direct intuitive way. Due interface, method promotes art-directed which we exemplify set practical examples.
