ABSTRACT
Various conditions can result in scratching behavior and severe itching such as atopic dermatitis significantly impact on one's quality of life. Because the management many is not necessarily about curing condition but instead properly maintaining or controlling condition, a proper understanding these types accurate recognitions are important. In particular, clear behaviors be difficult for young children those who engage nocturnal while sleeping. this work, we design prototype system with two smartwatches which recognize motions validate results using an infrared camera to provide ground truth. We classify C4.5 algorithm analyze data understand scratch patterns our system. Our initial from sleep three healthy participant show that proposed method accuracy exceeds 90%.
