The built environment affects the behaviors and experience of its occupants. Recent technological advances have made it possible to simultaneously quantify features indoor outdoor environments people's reactions within these environments. In a new research methodology, "living lab", aspects are varied, consequent environmental changes measured through combination objective automated sensing capabilities behavioral techniques. This approach can be implemented tightly controlled lab spaces or out in real world, creating opportunities human-environment interactions across variety populations. this workshop, we highlight living methodology share how insights from real-world inform innovative applications improve health, performance, well-being building
