ABSTRACT
Based on the potential flow theory, this paper studies hydrodynamic performance of a single point mooring suspended current power generation device by using software AQWA, and obtains frequency-domain characteristic curves RAOs (Amplitude Response Operators) each degree freedom under conditions different wave direction angles height gravity center. According to results analysis, considering loads current, time-domain coupling analysis given sea condition is carried out, motion response system in irregular waves change line tension are studied. The show that peak value surge pitch first decreases then increases with increase angle. When angle small, there will be large motion; yaw mainly shows low frequency resonance wave. small variation center can reduce roll motion, but influence small. In condition, keep stable, RAO large, which may affect Savonius blade. safety factor ensure reliability device.
