ABSTRACT
Digital games can make speech therapy exercises more enjoyable for children and increase their motivation during therapy. However, many such developed to date have not been designed long-term use. To address this issue, we Apraxia World, a game specifically intended be played over extended periods. In study, examined pronunciation improvements, child engagement time, caregiver automated evaluation accuracy while using our multi-month period. Ten World at home two counterbalanced 4-week treatment blocks separated by 2-week break. one phase, received feedback from caregivers in the other utterances were evaluated with an framework built into game. We found that made therapeutically significant improvements successfully increased practice. Additionally, offline mispronunciation detection tests, outperformed traditional method based on goodness of scoring. Our results suggest type is valid complement
