ABSTRACT
The advent of Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) has enabled the feasibility wireless sensor networks for environmental traffic sensing across urban areas. In this study, we explore usage LoRaWAN end nodes as sensors to offer a practical management solution. monitored Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) factor is reported and used in gateways assess environment. Our technique utilizes long-range communication technology provide large-scale system. work, present method using devices estimate flows. then transmit their packets different gateways. Their RSSI will be affected by number cars on roadway. We SVM clustering methods classify approximate present. This paper details our experiences with design real implementation system an area that stretches miles scenarios. continuously measured at weeks. Results have shown if node placed optimal position, up 96% correct environment level detection can obtained. Additionally, share lessons learned from such deployment sensing.
