ABSTRACT
A software-driven device for bolus-triggered start of helical computed tomography (CT) was evaluated in liver studies 30 patients with suspected metastatic disease. Compared results a control group who underwent conventional contrast material-enhanced CT, the study had significantly higher and more constant parenchymal enhancement (P < .05, Mann-Whitney U test). This technique helps optimize findings at contrast-enhanced CT.
