ABSTRACT
Antimicrobial materials have attracted much attention all over the world. Herein, a new kind of antimicrobial material, poly (ether amide) (Pebax Ⓡ ) nanofibers containing Ag nanoparticles, was prepared by electrospinning method. The Ag/Pebax composites were characterized scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), differential calorimetry (DSC), and thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) measurements. properties against Escherichia coli ( E. ; ATCC25922 avirulent) Staphylococcus aureus S. ATCC6538 evaluated membrane adhering It found that content played an important part in ability composites. When mass ratio AgNO 3 to Pebax precursor 0.15 ‰ , inhibition rate can reach >99.9% activity 5.8 5.6, respectively, exceeding testing standards JIS Z 2801. above results indicated composite promising material be used many applications.
