ABSTRACT
Digital technologies have opened new opportunities for psychological testing, allowing computerized testing tools to be developed and/or paper and pencil translated devices. The question that rises is whether these implementations may introduce some technology-specific effects considered in neuropsychological evaluations. Two core aspects been investigated this work: the efficacy of tests clinical ecology their administration (the ability measure real-world test performance), specifically (1) a when response stimuli measured using touch-screen compared conventional mouse-control device; (2) with respect different input modalities (visual versus verbal); (3) two assessment (touch-screen mouse-control), including preference measurements participants. Our results suggest devices are suitable administering experimental tasks requiring precise timings detection, intrinsic nature should always respected terms presentation digitalized environment, result ecological instruments being proposed high level from elderly people.
