ABSTRACT
Solar energy conversion is an object of continuous research, focusing on improving the efficiency as well structure photovoltaic cells. With efficiencies continuously increasing, state-of-the-art PV cells offer a good solution to harvest solar energy. However, they are still lacking flexibility and conformability be integrated into common objects or clothing. Moreover, many sun-exposed surface areas textile-based such garments, tents, truck coverings, boat sails, home outdoor textiles. Here, we present new dye-sensitized cell (DSC) which takes advantage from properties inherent fabrics: flexibility, low weight, mechanical robustness. Due necessary thermostability during manufacturing, our DSC design based heat-resistant glass-fiber fabrics. After applying all needed layers, overall was covered by transparent simultaneously conductive protective film. The light flexible large-area devices (up 6 cm 2 per individual unit) working with up 1.8% at 1/5 sun. Stability tests assure no loss activity over period least seven weeks. Therefore, technology has paved way for generation devices, can used power in mentioned applications modern textile architecture.
