ABSTRACT
Introduction . Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LRYGBP) is a common procedure in obesity surgery. The aim of an antecolic approach to reduce the rate internal herniation. Our make bariatric surgeons aware another possible complication LRYGBP. Methods and Results We present case report omental torsion 24 months after LRYGBP presenting as acute abdomen, suggesting appendicitis. During diagnostic laparoscopy, infarction due was observed. Resection avital omentum performed. Discussion Omental rare complication. When appearing early postoperative phase, it may mimic anastomotic leakage. It also occur late complication, with abdomen
