ABSTRACT
One characteristic of autoimmune diseases (ADs) is the production autoantibodies for extractable nuclear autoantigens, which may aid in discrimination different types and related to antinuclear antibody (ANA) patterns. The present study verified profile patient samples tested antigens (ENA) antibodies a public hospital correlated ENA results with ANA patterns diagnoses. reviewed data medical records patients who underwent anti-ENA tests at West State Paraná from February 2011 January 2017. Patients were classified according age, ethnicity, gender, test results, presence or absence AD. Thirty-six (20.9%) 172 positive, seven (4.1%) undetermined, 129 (75%) exhibited negative results. reagent was found 84.3% anti-ENA-positive samples. anti-SSA/Ro autoantibody highest frequency group, 41.7% (15/36). most common pattern fine speckled, 24.3% association indicated significant relationship between titer diagnosis anti-ENA- ANA-positive patients. anti-ENA-negative diagnosed an AD 35% (45/129) cases, 75% (27/36) Systemic lupus erythematosus scleroderma pathologies antigen-positive good marker complex clinical diseases.
