ABSTRACT
The Salvador-Warts-Hippo pathway controls cell fate and tissue growth. main function of the Hippo is to prevent YAP TAZ translocation nucleus where they induce transcription genes involved in proliferation, survival, stem maintenance. signaling is, thus, a complex tumor suppressor, its deregulation key feature many cancers. Recent mounting evidence suggests that overexpression components can be useful prognostic biomarkers. Moreover, appears intimately linked some most important pathways cancer development progression. A better understanding thus essential untangle biology develop novel anticancer therapies. Here, we comment on progress made connections, also how new drugs modulating this pathway, such as Verteporfin C19, are highly promising therapeutics.
