ABSTRACT
Ninety-two patients with pituitary adenomas have been treated during the last 5 years. Sixty-three of these had more than 6 months follow-up, and they form basis this report. Eighteen non-functioning (NFA), 36 functioning (FA). The mean marginal dose was 22.5 Gy (NFA 19.5 Gy, FA 23.9 Gy). Control tumor growth achieved in 92%. A significant decrease excessive hormone production seen 75.6%, endocrinopathy normalization rate 26.7%. Post-radiosurgical complications were 4.7%.
