ABSTRACT
Circulating IgA1-containing immune complexes (cIgA1) were shown to play important roles in IgA nephropathy (IgAN). They could induce the release of multiple inflammatory factors, including MCP-1 and IL-6, elevated urinary factors also reported patients with IgAN, which suggested that inflammation is a major contributor kidney injury IgAN. After previous identification upregulated soluble triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1 (sTREM-1) by mesangial cells under cIgA1 challenge using cytokine array, present study, we further explored role TREM-1, an amplifier inflammation, cIgA1-induced injury. In total, 35 IgAN 17 healthy controls enrolled. The was isolated from plasma used treat cultured cells. mRNA expression TREM-1 as well levels sTREM-1, MCP-1, IL-6 cell supernatant urine samples detected. We found significantly upregulate compared controls. ΔsTREM-1 positively correlated supernatant. Similarly, higher sTREM-1 observed Moreover, detectable presented severe clinical pathological manifestations, lower eGFR levels, whose below limit quantification. Our study induced
