ABSTRACT
Peritoneal metastasis (PM) is detected in 14% of gastric cancers at the time initial diagnosis, with a median survival 4 months. A 66-year-old woman diagnosed cT4a(SE) N2M1(LYN) cStage IV was treated three lines chemotherapy for year. During third line chemotherapy, computed tomography (CT) scan revealed large amount ascites, periportal collar sign, and bilateral ureteral stenosis owing to PM. The tumor biomarkers (CEA CA 19-9) remained elevated similar levels. patient administered 3 mg/kg nivolumab intravenously biweekly as fourth chemotherapy. Three months after treatment, gastroscopy an extreme reduction size, while CT absence ascites well-controlled tumor. There no immune-related adverse event during performance status improved 0. has been alive about 2.5 years since her first visit sixth (docetaxel). We report case advanced cancer PM that successfully nivolumab.
