ABSTRACT
An urban railway is a complex technical system that consumes large amounts of energy, but this means transportation still has been obtained more and popularity in densely populated cities because its features high-capacity capability, high speed, security, punctuality, lower emission, reduction traffic congestion. The improved energy consumption environment are two the main objectives for future transportation. Electrified trains can meet these by recuperation reuse regenerative braking - efficient operation. Two methods to enhance efficiency: one improve technology (e.g., using storage system, reversible or active substations recuperate replacing traction electric motors energy-efficient as permanent magnet electrical motors; train's mass lightweight material mass...); other operational procedures (e.g. driving including: eco-driving; speed profile optimization; Driving Advice System (DAS); Automatic Train Operation (ATO); management optimization...). Among lot above solutions saving which suitable current conditions metro lines Vietnam. paper proposes optimization method based on Pontryagin's Maximum Principle (PMP) find optimal electrified train Cat Linh-Ha Dong line, Vietnam an effort minimize operation consumption.
