ABSTRACT
Quality of service (QoS) is pivotal for ensuring effective and reliable network performance, yet achieving end-to-end QoS within current architectures remains a persistent challenge. The emergence software defined networking (SDN) addresses limitations in traditional by offering centralized control plane. This allows dynamic resource management efficient enforcement policies administrators. However, the controller placement problem (CPP) SDN poses significant challenge, as identifying optimal controllers non-deterministic polynomial-time hardness (NP-hard) problem. Researchers are actively working on solutions to address this especially large-scale networks where deploying becomes complex. Additionally, maintaining terms presents another hurdle. paper explores these challenges, delving into literature providing comprehensive analysis performance metrics related parameters such load balancing, reliability, consistency, scalability. By addressing research aims enhance framework.
