ABSTRACT
Stand-alone photovoltaic (SAPV) systems are being used in remote areas and seen as one of the promising solution this regard. The SAPV system presented paper consists solar PV panel, a DC-DC converter, controller PMDC motor. current-voltage power-voltage characteristics nonlinear, require maximum power point techniques (MPPT) control to extract available from cell. A voltage based MPPT technique which is capable tracking MPP has been selected because numerous advantages it offers such as: simple low cost implementation. limitation constant method that its efficiency panel be disconnected load for measurement open circuit (Voc). In paper, authors have removed by using pilot Voc. proportional-integrator (PI) implementation modeling done MATLAB®/SIMULINK simulation environment. results discussed shows increased.
