ABSTRACT
There is growing interest in the use plants for treatment and prevention of cancer are currently being evaluated as promising anticancer agents. In this paper, we investigated anti-microbial, anti-oxidant, phytotoxic immunomodulatory plant Bauhinia variegata also established presence important phytoconstituents which might signify its property. Phytochemical screening, anti-microbial assay, phytotoxicity anti-oxidant assay analysis was done according to protocol at Department Biotechnology, Kathmandu University Panjwani Center Molecular Medicine Drug Research, Karachi, Pakistan. In phytochemical observed different phytochemicals like steroids, terpenoids, flavonoids, reducing sugars glycosides. case Antimicrobial found be most effective against B.cereus with highest zone inhibition (ZOI) 12mm Rhizopus ZOI 11mm. During antioxidant comparison Ascorbic acid; concentration, scavenging activity shown by 43.38% compared ascorbic acid 89.25%. Immunomodulatory concentration i.e. 250 µg/ml, showed 75.1% effect, that has potential anti-inflammatory potential. 20% phytotoxicity. thus been proven an candidate used antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, agent. Separation pure compounds bioassay guided extraction, spectrometric subsequent cytotoxicity bioactive from variegate highly recommended crude extract itself other pharmaceutical
