Attitudes towards interprofessional education and associated factors among faculty at the college of health sciences in a public university in Kenya: a cross-sectional study

ABSTRACT
conforming health professional´s curricula and training to emerging needs exponential growth in medical information education is key. Interprofessional one such conformity. Faculty attitudes towards interprofessional a good predictor their engagement. The study purpose determine of faculty associated factors (IPE) at the College Health Sciences Jomo Kenyatta University Agriculture Technology.a cross-sectional among 71 was conducted. A 5-point Likert scale with three attitude subscales on IPE were used collect data using stratified sampling method. Attitude dichotomized >75% as cut-off for positive attitude. Data analyzed SPSS version 25.0 software 95% confidence level. Logistic regression identify relationship between bio-demographic characteristics faculty.there more male than females mean age 42 years. overall score (124.46 >75%), academic settings subscale yielding negative (36.86 <75%). Age, gender, position, expertise level not significant influencing faculty´s Application (P=0.036), who had applied college likely have attitudes.faculty but 3-interprofessional settings. Behavior change sensitization avert recommended.
