Microgomphus souteri Fraser, a new addition to the Odonata (Insecta) fauna of Kerala, southern India

New distribution record of Odonata species from Kerala is reported. The genus Microgomphus and souteri recorded for the first time Kerala. Previously only Coorg South Kanara, Karnataka. Diagnostic characters photographs are also given easy identification this rare endemic dragonfly species.
